Firstly, a massive thank you to Sam for making not just our wedding but our whole Paxos experience unforgettable.

We had visited Paxos for quite a few years and even knowing the island well we were incredibly naive to think we could plan this alone. Sam charmed all our family and friends and proved her worth from day 1 of planning. We had a seamless and stress free run up to our arrival on Paxos, bar one significant surprise when we discovered that i was going to be nearly 8 months pregnant on our wedding day. We were completely reassured to have Sam involved, I work in production so attention to detail and delivering to a budget is something that rarely passes me by, there wasn’t a thing Sam missed. We had 120 guests at peak season and the wedding day and events surrounding our celebrations exceeded all expectations. The mother of the bride was even seen to be sunbathing the day of the wedding!

Thanks to Sam, we discovered new places and made new memories on an island we thought we had fully explored. We are enormously grateful to Sam and will never forget our special few weeks there, very much looking forward to returning with friends and new family members!

From the moment we first saw Sam’s website and contacted her everything just clicked into place. Sam knows what needs to be done, in what order and you can leave it to her to organise it. You only have to have a chat with Sam in one of the harbour cafés to realise she knows, and is liked, by everybody on the Island. Everything was organised in Paxos style, laid back, but sorted, just how we imagined it would be!

We don’t really know where to start, our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be, filled with love, laughs and a couple of tears. We would really like to thank Sam and Stu for making our day so special and stress free. Our event planning skills are non-existent so from the start Sam was there to help and guide us through the whole process. We were both quite stressed when arriving in Paxos from all the build up, Sam and Stu brought a very relaxed atmosphere which calmed us both!

Our wedding day was magical from the Greek band at the beautiful villa to our taxi drivers family throwing rice on the car to Ben’s Bar, just perfect.

At the beginning we planned a big wedding in Sweden, but suddenly realized that it wasn´t what we really wanted. Instead we started to talk about having the wedding on Paxos, which we had visited a couples of years earlier. Sam (aka wedding fairy) and Stuart were great from beginning to end from our first conversation to spending an hour or so with them a few days after the wedding. A couple that really aims to please and goes the extra mile to make it perfect and are interested in you.

We got engaged at the Taj Mahal on the 10th of November 2015. We were planning to get married on our 10-year anniversary in October 2018. After several conversations with pretty useless venues in the UK, accompanied by extortionate prices we changed our minds. We started to seriously discuss our pipe dream of getting married in Paxos (pretty certain something would come to trip us up!), we then decided to get married on our holiday, 8 weeks before we were due to leave!

So that’s where Sam and Stuart came to our rescue! That evening we found the Paxos wedding website and sent through an email of interest. We had decided it would be a good idea to have a wedding planner on the island to help us with the local preparation, organisation and logistics (considering our complete lack of Greek!). We sent the email on Friday evening and by Saturday morning Sam had already emailed back and was just as excited as us that we were getting married in just 8 weeks. From that point onwards she and Stuart were hugely supportive, giving us options of what was available and guidance for how previous weddings had worked well. We were free to design the day completely as we chose; nothing was too difficult for them to do – the whole experience was so easy and stress free – people couldn’t believe how relaxed we were especially considering the time scales.

The communication we had from Sam and Stuart was first class! So much better than anything we had experienced in the UK. During the week leading up to the wedding they introduced us to everyone involved; the florist, photographer, venue, registrar and even the mayor. They were so accommodating even when we added 2 more people to the wedding and decided we needed help transporting everyone around the island! (We thought they were joking went hey said there are only 5 taxis on the island . . .).

The day itself was perfect. We would not have changed a single thing. Spiros’ photos were so beautiful: natural and captured the joy shared by all the guests throughout the day. Ben’s bar was fantastic; the food tasted wonderful and they lit small bonfires on the beach – a truly beautiful setting to end an incredible day.

We can’t explain how much we would recommend Sam and Stuart. They made our dream possible and without them it wouldn’t have become a reality.

We got engaged on our second trip to Paxos in May 2015, and knew in our hearts that Paxos was the place where we wanted to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends.

We met with Sam and Stuart right after our engagement and in the following months we slowly put together plans for our dream wedding. Sam was supportive and promptly replied to every email we sent, with our numerous questions and ideas.

We knew a wedding was a slight risk with the weather (towards the end of May, the weather is still settling down for the summer in Paxos), but we believed that the fewer numbers of visitors to the island at that time of year, together with the magical emergence of fireflies in the groves every evening would be worth the risk. We were right in every respect! The wedding had been scheduled for Friday 20th May and every forecast invariably predicted perfect weather for everyday leading up to the celebration, and a washout on the day itself. Nothing had changed by Wednesday morning, so we (Sam, Stuart and the two of us) all agreed to move the wedding to Thursday. A day early at a day’s notice. We don’t think there are many wedding destinations in the world that allow you that degree of flexibility! Sam and Stuart had checked with everybody involved in our wedding in advance whether it would be possible to move it, and they were all incredibly flexible, ensuring we still were able to have the day we had envisioned.

We held our ceremony in the Daughter’s field, a picturesque olive grove with an old ruin serving as an entrance, elegantly decorated by Sam and Spyros of Taxidi Bar. Spyros also provided guests with Prosecco and the most delicious fresh lemonade after the ceremony. Stuart was always at hand, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Our reception was held a 20 minute walk from the ceremony at the Mongonissi Taverna at the southern tip of Paxos. Theo, the owner, and the staff were so generous and we had the most delicious meal. Sam had decorated everything beautifully, right down to the elegant lanterns hanging from the olive trees and the beautiful array of handpicked flowers from her garden laid at each table place. Mongonissi were incredibly flexible and allowed us to have our friends’ band play and DJ until the early hours, and even surprised us with fireworks immediately after our first dance. All of our guests and the staff had a great time. Sam and Stuart stayed right up until the end, making sure every bit of our day went to plan.

Sam helped us find accommodation so that the wedding party and the band could all stay together at Santa Marina Villas. It was the perfect place for us all to get ready for the wedding together and Olga and Maria made us all feel so relaxed and welcome on the day.

There are not many brides and grooms who could say that they had a stress free wedding, particularly not many ones who would say that after having to move their wedding 24 hours ahead of time, but we both can honestly say that we had the best day ever and we enjoyed every minute of it. All of our 65 guests have also been telling us that it was a magical day and one of the best weddings they have ever been to. It’s all thanks to Sam, Stuart and all of the locals whose generosity and attention to detail made our wedding everything we hoped it to be and more.

Both Sam and her partner Stuart were an absolute dream helping to arrange our wedding party on Paxos. Having spent many an enjoyable hour sitting in a taverna with them making plans we felt complete trust in them. Samantha is thoughtful, open to ideas and accommodating - and to boot she is great fun too and all the men in our party fell in love with her!

We had a very simple ceremony in the beautiful gardens of our studio in Lakka followed by us all walking to the harbour where we had a boat ride round the headland to Bens Bar where we had a party of a lifetime! Sam had understood us so well. She knew we didn’t want anything too fancy or fussy and the tables for the meal were just perfect - dressed with white tablecloths and scattered with pink bouganvilla and blue plumbago that looked so unbelievably understated, romantic and beautiful. The food was incredible…. the most delicious array of starters with lamb and chicken on the spit and stuffed tomatoes and the wine was copious. Music, beach fires and dancing carried us through the evening and all our 43 guests said it had been not only the most amazing evening ever but the best holiday too. Stuart, was the man behind the scenes on the day and was discrete and very organised making sure everything ran smoothly.

We felt so comfortable with both Sam and Stuart and look forward to seeing them again next year as friends. They are a brilliant couple and if you want the most magical wedding day ever then we cannot recommend them more highly.

From the moment we were welcomed by Sam, with champagne and smiles, on the beautiful island of Paxos, we knew this was going to be a wonderful experience and our perfect wedding destination. We chose Sam and Stuart to plan our wedding after going to our friends wedding in Paxos that they organised. We booked our wedding after arriving home and the next year was spent speaking to Sam about how I wanted our day. Sam managed to get everything absolutely perfect for us, we sent her images of special things we would like and she found them on the island. We had our reception at Bens bar and it was fantastic, all 48 guests enjoyed the whole day and many said it was the best wedding they had been too. It was hassle free all thanks to Sam and Stuart and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

How do we begin to thank you both for the amazing Wedding experience you gave Jolyon, Jessica and their guests, which Jolyon exclaimed was the “best day of his life”.
The venue for the ceremony at Daughter’s Field, entering through a ruin into an olive grove, was magical and proved to be even better than we had possibly imagined.
Theo’s Taverna at Mongonissi was a great choice and we were delighted with every aspect, from the decorations to the welcome, to the wedding feast, to the music, to the dancing, the whole evening was utterly fantastic. The boat trip across the bay for the Bride and Groom, the firework display and all the other little extra touches also helped to make this a truly memorable occasion.
Elements such as transport, flowers, photography and cake were all expertly provided by various individuals on the Island and integrated into the proceedings without a hitch!
Your personal care and attention to detail were second to none, an altogether incredible experience, thoroughly enjoyed by all, leaving us with lasting memories for years to come.

Once we had decided that we really wanted a nice quiet wedding somewhere hot an internet search came up with Paxos and as we had visited two years previously and loved it the idea was planted. From the moment that we spoke to Sam she basically gave us a blank canvas for our wedding day and no idea seemed to phase her. Once we arrived on Paxos she and Stuart made us feel really relaxed and our actual wedding day was everything we could of wished for.
